i bought a hilux about month ago from dealer.nowthe cv joints sound like they are the way out.ive only just started using the 4x4. can i go back to dealer and aske to be fixed!

You can ask, and he'll probably help you. Depending on what was agreed upon at the time of sale and if it has had any off road use.

You can but ask. However, as a commercial vehicle such as a Hilux is not "goods. of a kind ordinarily acquired for personal use", the CGA does not apply.

Do wot! Unless the dealer and buyer agreed it was for commercial purposes by initialling the clause stating that then its concidered to be for private use regardless of it being a "commercial" vehicle or not.

More likely regarded as waste and stupidity, its really pathetic watching these soccer mums driving these offroad vehicles doing a job that an ordinary 2wd stationwagon could do and creating traffic jams in front of schools.
