The red neck way - Act first, think later

mechnificent, Aug 7, 3:24pm
Ha, and he was worried about a bumper!

owene, Aug 7, 7:37pm
It always astonishes me how willing onlookers are to stand within the flail-range of tow ropes. If that had busted it would have taken about 10 men out in one big bloody mess. But the clip is hillarious - what was the busted vehicle anyway! A Suziki!

mechnificent, Aug 7, 7:41pm
I noticed that too. And there were enough of them there to gently manhandle that car out of the snow.

moosie_21, Aug 8, 11:24am
Actually, there was a video floating around here a few months ago of a Sylvia(!) in a ditch, and a 4wd pulled up to help it out. They tried accelerating at full speed, snapped a few ropes, nearly ended up destroying both cars in the process. And yes, they were Kiwi.

& after that, why didn't they take the wheel off that was under the chassis.
Dug a nice wee trench

moosie_21, Aug 8, 6:19pm
Haha yeah that's the one. Silly Kiwis.

mrcat1, Aug 8, 7:14pm
I think you will find it's a Duramax engine, not a Detroit. The Dodge Rams have a 6.9 liter Cummins engine.

trogedon, Aug 8, 7:23pm
"dang, that ain't right."

trogedon, Sep 23, 12:55pm
Is it too sensible to pay a proper towie to get it out safely and save a more damage to the car! Also, when did rural NZ guys stop pulling their trousers up!
