I came out from getting groceries and find a hand written note under my wiper. It says "please dont hit my car with your car door" Umm, ok, so I look at the car next to me. A reasonably tidy old Honda Oddesy (sp)
Ok, well I guess we have all learnt a thing or two. This apparently is the new way to stop your car from getting trolly or parking dings. lol

Premptive strike!
Personally, I'd add some expletives to the note and pop it under their windscreen wiper.

Well they did say please lol

Can't say I blame them for trying. Some idiot opened their car door onto me today even, while I was sitting in the car.
I partially blame those who make the carparks though, some are far too skinny.
Now I can walk further, I find I am returning to my ways of parking well away from the congested parts of car parks.

I guess they are sick of the dings in their car. It is really annoying, as we all know when people do not hold their doors when getting in or out. I have been in my vehicle many times when a door has hit it. My dirty look must be 'wearing out' after all these years because they pretend not to notice.

I have got that many trolly / car park dings on my car, I just put up with it now and realise its a part of parking in those types of areas.
I think anyone genuinely wanting to avoid it should buy an old car for shopping or go park down the road, becuase its a simple fact, if you park in supermarket car parks etc, sooner or later you are going to end up with your car marked.

As careful as i try to be I have hit others door with my car doors a couple of times. Years of opening car doors in car parks and sooner or later you are going to slip up. It's just something thats unavoidable I think. Yes there are plenty of scumbags that couldnt care less anyway but regardless of them its still going to happen at some stage no matter how careful we are.

This is why I park the cage as far away from the entrance as I can lol, knowing lazy bucklame drivers they'd sooner drive around for another 5 mins then park further away.

My wife parks as far away from anyone that she can and inevitably when you come out some heap of crap is parked beside you. The other somewhat unpopular remedy is to park with the white line in the centre of the car, take up two spots.

Don'tpark too close to me,I swing my door well open as due to injury I need plenty of space. Park even closer and I will key your car. I go out of my way to make sure I have room but there are still idiots out there.

I hope this is a wind-up from a troll, otherwise there is one sick puppy out there, a brain injury!

Yeah . my fault - sorry. I saw him slam my truck then saw him key my baby also . his head twisted sideways as I pulled him out through his window for a chat. My bad.

Do what I do, park in the fartherest corner of the car park. Most shoppers are lazy and what to park right outside the door.
