They use de-icing chemicals or salt and snow tyres with or without studs also lots of other techy methods that only they would bother with though japanese arent retarded like the brits and by their nature they would prefer snow chains than put salt on the road hence why their car fleet doesnt have extensive problems with rust.
Seriously i would buy a european made car from japan before i bought one from the uk if both were the same price.Now of course they arent as the uk economy is trashed so there are bargins.
