After searching for particular car (Swift) and finding a N.Z new 2010 ex lease one cheaper than an older Jap import, proceeded to the purchase stage with a particular car dealer. Before the deal was complete, another ex lease dealer contacted us to try and under cut by a few hundred dollars, after initially stating the price was fixed, thinking they had the whole batch of cars. After that failure, those other cars are now $2000 less again advertised. So the moral of the story is. .

if the car sales want the turn over, don't mess around with the customers, someone else will get the sale. The funny bit is now they are prepared to lose money on them.
