91 Nissan pulsar. When i turn left and right i can hear a creaking noise. Turn the car off and i get the same thing. Its not a clicking CV noise. Its more of a inwards sounding noise. I think its only coming from the left. I checked the power steering fluid and it fine. Any ideas! Thanks!

left hand wheel bearing loose and center nut needs tightening!or could be ball joints,or steering rod ends! best to jack front of car up and feel for play and then go from there

Had one of these years ago that did a similar squaek to this, replaced the large bushes which hold the steering rack to body and problem gone.part of a WOF check too I think!

Either that, or its doing what the navara's do, and creaking at the top of the springs, both old and new navara's (at leats the venturere's) still do it. Dunno bout the STX, but . there not really navara's anyway
