"Interesting setups", more like downright dodgy and dangerous. Some of the methods used to hold the cars down would give the OSH man nightmares. Wonder how many of the spectators had ear protectors.
Blow ups are always a risk. Some goodies in there.

rolling road dynos are a stupid setup. we run a hub dyno at my work where you remove the drive wheels of the car and bolt the dyno boxs directly to the hub

This is a CAT 793 dumper that went off bang. Didn't use a rolling road, they used a newbie operator who went from 6th to 1st down a slope fully loaded.
