They were the air-cooled radially-arranged engines where you kept the crankshaft stationary and spun the engine block, weren't they!

how can you even compare. http://www.youtube.com/watch!v=XsF0Fc4tIpY&feature=related But I would agree that RX2's are good cars. with a 350 in them :-) TBH I liked the RX3 coupes the best, if I had one I would keep it standard. Also no denying that the PAC performance lot get good hp / times out of them.

nah, dunno about the Bentley bit but the engines that spun the block were nearly a century ago! Radial engines used in aircraft (& some WW2 army tanks) are still being used but the engine block/cylinders are stationary & the prop does the spinning(some were 4 row X 7 cylinder beasts)

so its an opposed-piston engine then! Like this beasty !
If i had to make a list of the worlds best engine. id have to put the deltic on it somewhere purely because it such an oddity.
The wankel well yeah it would get a spot on the top 10 list too.But it wouldnt be top.Theres only one engine that could be number 1 and we all know what it is.
American V8s are shit! ohh unless you need a boat anchor or want to see an item that should be in a ancient artifacts display!
