Yes, park your car in the garage.cats don't care about your paint job.they're just looking for a nice warm bonnet to sleep on!

"that farkin cats back, now how did he do that! I shoved my boot right up its bum and kicked the karnt to kingdom come."

Don't do what I did,and that was buy a cloth cover, because they move when the cat walks on it and their instinct is to put there claws out for grip. Consequently you end up with scratched paint

Yeah and don't yell at them when you see them on the bonnet.the battle for traction as they take off is not pretty.

Apparently camphor is the stuff - so genuine camphor balls at cat height at the entrances it uses.

Yeah, I had the cat removed from an old Toyota I bought - made it go much better.

Annoys me too- have hung (Warehouse) garden netting over the bonnet and that works

Keep it in a shut garage. If you can't keep the cats out of the garage, then try a GOOD cover, tailored to the vehicle, something like I use on mine:

If it's fitted, it sits tight across the car, doesn't move if a cat walks on it and they can't get underneath it. Added bonus is that if you're not using the car for prolonged periods, the cover keeps the dust/garage debris off it too.

I also have one of those electronic sonic alarm things as cats were getting into my old garage and spraying everywhere. it worked really well.

hahaI wish it was underneath instead of on top
