I'm repairing an s14a, 1996 facelift. I need the front end so trying to get a front cut. But unsure whether I can just get an s14 cut.
So can i use a 1994 or there abouts front end to repair my car!
if so, i heard there was a Nissan wreckers in auckland but dont know the name, any ideas!

Actually google is my enemy, I get thousands of partially relevant topics where one forum differs in answers to the next. Does noone actually know the differences in the chassis on here! Would be easy to say yes they are the same or no they are not

The front cut will be essentially the same. The different bits will be teh bolt on parts, like the headlights, bumper support, front gaurds ect. You can bolt all the Pre facelift stuff to a facelift and visa versa. There is a small amount of changes in the headlight wiring is all. If you need to know more try www.nissansilvia.co.nz

They are exactly the same, except the facelift have holes behind the headlights to change the bulbs as the FL ones are deeper than the pre face lift ones. to do it properly you need a 1997 onwards front cut.
