Just for my own curiousity, as I've had a couple of quotes and have one more to get, what would you expect to pay for someone to do a cambelt job on a 2004 Legacy!
To be clear, we're talking replacing cambelt, tensioners, water pump, seals etc. The full monty replaced as recommended by Subaru. Not just the cambelt itself.

ring the subaru dealer & a local garage & price-i know subaru do a kit at a good price now so check the the labour rate from them and a local garage as well

Done that - and have another friend-of-a-friend quote to come in. Was just curious about where anyone else saw the pricing.
