getting an 8 cyl block bored 030 out/over, an 8 cyl crank polished, 8 rods bigends resized, 16 x valve guides fitted to heads and both heads planed! Ta. I'm trying to see my way clear on how much a rebuild is likely to cost me.

about$ 180 for bore( not including pistonsprobably $100 to polish c / s not sure on resizing rods sayaround $ 15 eachnow the cyl head is a different basket of fish. do the heads have removable guides at present ! all i'm thinking is it maybe cheaper to put coils in the guides, no matter what you do here you will have to recut the valve seatsprobably $ 40 to reface each head
