driving along with a rag flapping around the driveshaft,reminded me of what my dad said they used to do in the black and white days. When the neighbours dog used to chase the cars,they tied a rag through the spoked wheels for him to chase,but he only did it once. Haha.

Having owned one I have to say it's a British oil catcher, just drive 200kms, remove rag, wring it out in to the oil filler and start again. Genius system.

haha read that and had visions of a dog biting the rag and doing loops.
