It happens quite regularly. Many many sellers are selling things they dont have. (they order them once them have sold them and get them shipped direct from china etc)

Its very annoying Ive had about 10 of my listings pulled in the last two weeks and I have to go through the hassle of relisting my items, they cant be accessed and all have to be done from scratch, so if I forget about something that I had for sale, it doesent get relisted till I remember it, and I have to take new photos as well. ,, I sort of thought that someone at trademe might think that I am currently overseas or something, not sure.

We are currently awaiting proof of goods on one of your listings. You cannot place new listings or update existing listings in the meantime.

Would you rather they did that.or would you rather people in business competing with you were able to sell on trademe with no stock, then supply from a warehouse offshore!

Fair call. I guess the sheer volume of listings limits things a bit. I'm always blown away when they publish trade volumes. Is there any way for you to become a trusted seller of some sort so they don't hassle you!Might be worth suggesting it if not, to the top I mean, not the minions.

Hey I had to think about that but I do know the Guy in the pontiac, maybe got on it a bit and told a few stories some years back in the Milford Pub,,I just got another note from trademe police.

Ive bought a few items off a large outdoors type outfit here in Canty, roll up with the auction number & cash as specified by them: Oh sorry we dont have that I sold the last one (of those 20 listings on Tard me) thismorning but here is a lousier product that we have ticketed as dearer just to make you feel better You should take it in case we give you a bad feedback because we have offered you a 'premium product' - UM
But wait there is more.
Trademe have sat on their hands because of volume of sales, no surprise
