any ideas of the approximate cost! Engine has been leaking oil and two pieces of the gasket are protruding from under the rocker cover where the oil is leaking so I am fairly certain that this is the problem. TIA :)

Gasket $25 or so, labour 15 minutes. You can do it yourself, it's only half a dozen bolts, peel the old gasket off, clean all the gasket mating surfaces, fit new gasket, bolt the rocker cover back on. Job done.

Don't overtighten the gasket they don't like it.
