Car has an alternator belt thats cracking and fine cracks in power steering bolt.
Car is a Nissan Pulsar N16 2003 auto.
is this a biggie to change etc, or just a f1-2 hours labour and parts!
Just asking as have had mechanics try and rip me off in the past. maybe cause im a female and theyre trying it on. who knows, but just like to have a rough guestimate of time before i go around asking prices!
Thanks!

and those times are for both jobs done! ie an hour at the most to do both!
Also how critical is it, done ASAP or just in next few weeks etc.Got noted on my warrant sheet yesterday.

it's not ASAP. It's just a note to you. Unless it has "fail" with it, but as people said $30, and half an hour/hour.

Sweet, I didnt think it was a biggie, but didnt want the belt snapping or something like tnat and obviously the alternator not working (i dont now much about cars, but know thats not gonna be good for getting the car moving much!)
will take in somewhere in the next month or so!
Thanks!
