easy, someone brought the car for a bargin, minimum repairs to put back on at a profit. not really rocket sicence stuff.

Its the same seller!

In that case, easy, the seller is an unreputable person who decided that they didn't get enough for their car and think that they are not obligated to actually go through with the sale (or they had a friend shill-bid).

ask them in the Q&As
trdbzr,

quite likely they had shill bidding done, and if you bring it up their response will be that the buyer pulled out, and yet no negative feedback was placed, theres lots of other dealers who regularly do this on trademe
ruthie84,
Aug 23, 10:43am
yeah I have done that, just waiting now for response.

On an auction site putting $1 reserve and then "pulling it" because it hasn't reached enough is really low , and at least some sort of sign needs to go against any future $1 auction to let you know they don't have the nuts , or at least don't allow them to run another one. (obviously unless somehow mistakenly listed and is cancelled via TM within a few minutes of listing).

Watch to see if the same "bidders" push up the bidding

You will note they have no $1 reserve listings anymore so disregard #12

It's possible that the sale didn't go through with the top bidder.although looking at the first buyers feedback, there isnt a bad one from the seller so I doubt this was the case.

13mins to go and 7 unanswered questions. No where near the amount of interest in this vehicle than there was last time . before he pulled it. He's a secondhand car dealer and seems trustworthy though . just bad luck this time!

So do something about it!

Folks look theres a bunch of industry specific stuff I really HATE abouttrade me.Purely mechanical stuff with how dealer adverts are done. BUT I wholeheartedly support the way they aren't afraid to kick repeat offenders of shill biddingand fraud to touch. --The only way they can take action is if they are told about the people concerned so they can monitor the trader SOOO Op I'd suggest you report the listings to TM

Exactly rather than just bringing it up here.

Have you seen the number of RED FACES this seller has in his feedback history, kind of explains things a bit I'd say. Bet there's some shill bidding going on there, dodgy to say the least. Trade Me needs to be advised and so does L.M.V.D. ( LICENSED MOTOR VEHICLE DEALERS. outfit.) He needs a right royal kicking by some heavy brigade.

The feedback record kind of suggests otherwise!

appears he wants everybody to stay away from him. i asked a question on his last auction which he never answered, this time i'm blacklisted. seems very very dodgy.

just shows people should read feedback before bidding this traders feedback says it all. if last winner pulled out after viewing car i wonder how bigger peice of fertilizer it realy is

my father told me someone brought a 96 bmw off TM for $1 using the buy now. the seller was a dealer and stuffed up by putting wrong buy now price up, but in saying that, seller was decent enough to go thru with the sale.
