Fathers day is one of the biggest meets held. I plan to race on the day, might also go to the GM club drags next Sunday for practice as well. Haven't raced yet with the new engine.

yes Clark20 i am going but just to spectate. they don't prep the track for a Fathers Day meeting so it's a waste of time trying to get my junk down that track. i think they also ask all cars in their competition be wof n reg std, that looses me.

And whats the weather doing!
cuda.340,
Aug 20, 7:29pm
don't worry about the weather, those tinarse petrolheads always get a good days racing in. been going for years, never seen it rained out.
Clark20, ask him when he's putting in a big block, mr nana needs to go faster n it's not like he drives it anywhere else but to the track,

It got rained out 3-4 years ago, was postponed till the rain date. Still got a good turn out. But if this rain keeps up, the car park area will be the cause of any cancellation (on 1ZB) due to wet fields and no where to park.

I want him to put in my motor, he would be 350Kg lighter than mine, and would easily pull 12s, add a cam etc and 11s could be found. Its not like he doesn't have the dosh.
clark20,
Aug 20, 9:18pm
So Cuda, you don't need your parking area then!

It better be sunny and very windy for thenext week or more to dry that carpark out. Am lookling forward to heading down there with one of the kids. Have to pick and choose as we can only fit one kid in the car.lol

hell yes, i don't want to be too far from the beer frig, a mans gotta drink or he'll get dehydrated.

i can remember 10+ years ago, the mud on the startline went almost past the 60ft mark. cars without or dodgy LSD's would just sit on the startline n spin while the real LSD or spool users would launch crossed up til they got past the mud line. they didn't have quick 8 or usa aussie shootouts back then luckily, there would have been a few armco rashes if you had any serious power.

Hoping to drop by in 48 Chev truck as a spectator on the day.
