piston liner . the steel cylinder the piston goes up and down in, in a Toyota motor! The motor is the alum 4V 8 cyl Hemi but they should be similar to the alum 4 cly's of the same vintage, aye! How did they have their cyl's removed!

There is a tool for this with a flat round plate and a long thread with a nut on it,, otherwise you need to warm the whole block in the oven and then spray some liquid ice in the bore, it should slip out like a solo mothers lover.

I had to google what you were on about . no - these are cast iron liners by the looks of them. I had another look at them also and . they look like they actually just float at the top and are fixed at the bottom.

one way is to run rings of weld aroundthem to shrink them
