Hi there I am writing a paper on comminities and have chosen the trade Me community. I am looking at what brings us all together as a comunity and what do you all think the boundaries are and how we work together. All suggestions greatly excepted Thank You

That's pretty broad. What brings everyone together! Very broad indeed. A desire to contribute opinions, to help others. To talk to others about subjects of mutual interest. Then there is the fact that people could be on here because of plain old boredom, or loneliness. Boundaries on here is pretty difficult, too. The rules are pretty set in stone by the TM staff and users generally seem to respect that. One thing I often notice is that when somebody sets a foot wrong, ie offends someone, then others step in to put that person in their place. I mean, people seem to look after each other on here, there seems to be a real comradeship in a lot of these boards. Perhaps if you list the areas you were wishing to cover in this paper, people will be able to contribute opinions and be of more help!

And then of course you will always get the Bellky's.

Well trademe certainly dosn't bring anyone together, not in the true sense, it is all faceless, and remember is a business.

So you don't think relationships are formed on trademe!
