Making my mind up on two vehicles: Example A: good for around town parking wise, reasonably comfortable for long distance, 4x4 / 2x4 with no LSD for off road, smallish interior but can fit 4 adults - gas mileage is about 18MPG or 12ish km / 100km. Example B: ok for around town but slightly big, very comfrortable for long distance, full time 4x4 with LSD, large interior, can fit a double bed inn back, gas mileage is about 16MPG or 14ish km/100km.
Objective - to have a vehicle that balances town majority with occasional camping off roading, safe, has room, fit the dogs in back, use back as cargo often. Gas mileage above is average. Both vehicles are reliable where I can fix myself. Whichh do you go for! Ididnt mentionmakes as usually I get the same response of buy a Toyota etc :-) Thanks

D: A Ferarri FF. 4wd, big, could probably fit a pair of sandals in the boot for camping on zee beach and it's def safe if you drive it fast enough.

Your lt/100km vs mpg are wrong 18mpg = 15.69 lt/100km and 16mpg = 17.66 lt/100km

Ive tried this before and stated the need and provided options I like, I got alot of garbage, stevo2 - I think you have converted from imperial / UK! basicaly what I was trying to achieve was whether you would buy a smaller SUV and not the bigger one based on saving a few MPG's!

Get a 2wd stationwagon (possibly a Fiat that has three seats in the front). Off road camping is overrated.

Just get the Toyota. Can't go wrong.
