www.dailymail.co.uk website has a story of Texas USA approving this speedlimit for a new highway. click US news at top and scroll down to USA map. (sorry, I'm not clever enough to post the link). The fastest speed limit in the USA. What do you think!

Dual carriage highway, flat, no corners, no farm vehicles or livestock .why not. Very few roads in NZ of such nature so not very relevant here. The Netherlands has upped the speed on a few motorways as well to 130km/h

In January I got pulled over in Montana for doing 150kmh, on a 130 kmh interstate. Just got a warning and see you later. Gotta love the US!

True, but there are a few that can support higher speed limits. Problem is as soon as someone suggests it they flamed and declared a heretic.
Driving in Germany, 120 km/h now seems very slow.
