Thats an interesting use of a bag barrow. Well done.

What is the reason for mounting the welder up so high!
ryanm2,
Sep 6, 6:53pm
some people are too lazy to bend down to turn knobs.

So I don't have to bend over when adjusting the amperage etc. Check out the air regulator mounted above the power sourse - its even angled upwards so you don't have to peer down when you check it. Its stable as - if thats what you are angling at. It wasn't to start off with, but a running mod of the front foot width sorted it out. Its around the same height as the commercially brought TIG trolley I have and its a ummmm Plasma Unit, mate. Just so you know.

Nice idea but a little nose heavy I would have mounted the welder sideways at the middle, with a tray out the front & on top + underneath ********* Hang the cables on the back with a "T" bar at the bottom to locate the bottom of the cables from swinging when moving the trolly

Yeah, I never thought about doing it that way. It is nose heavy how it is but its easily managable though. Hmmm, good points . Mr Cooter :) I have another item that I am planning on trolly-rizing . the shed jet engine/heater thingy. It runs off electricty but has a big arsed LPG bottle as part of its make up. The two are exclusive but joined by hoses. A prick to move so candidates for the sack barrow treatment also. I might mount the engine thingy sideways now.

Now I have an idea.

Would the heater = the same length of the trolley! Could you mount the heater on it's bottom, pointing upright on the trolley! Gas bottle mounted above the inlet .>>>
grab trolley/ wheel it out to where it's needed/ lay down/ point in desired direction / light heater
footplate, bottle > IO_____ >>> = heat
Laying down, it would be in order of. trolley foot plate / both, heater inlet with gas bottle above / pointing over top of trolley/ create a heat shield for over the handle grip area ****** AARRHH missed this bit "big arsed LPG bottle" Would work with a small bottle
******** Hang on a mo

For transport>>> Double trolley width Side by side heater & "big arsed LPG bottle"
Base of "big arsed LPG bottle" on a hinge swivel pocket Place transporter where you need it, lay down trolley & stand up "big arsed LPG bottle" light & enjoy the warmth *** NEED pic's of heater & "big arsed LPG bottle"

As did I! Would be easy and cheap way to fab one from a couple of them (i.e. you have the basic frame, wheels.just need to fab steering)

Used to use a bag trolley to lift up the front or rear of thesingle seater race car I haduntil I made up a quick lift racing jack

My welder has wheels, was produced with them. I would be worried about tipping it over, but hey each to his own idea. p.s. Can not see your welds but I am sure they are fine.

We used to call them Hand Trucks.
