theres a few morry parts in it but mostly general crap. Yea I'm getting rid of most my morry stuff, getting together some money so I can finish the ute then I'll streamline my parts supply around parts that I may need for that.

Depends if its either 'in size'(heavier thicker stuff), lite or shredder feed stuff the price goes down over the 3. Prices are different all over the country so best to just ring up.

few engine blocks, leaf springs, gas bottles, diff housings, brake drums. That kinda stuff. Oh and a couple bathtubs lol. Ive sorted it into the heavier stuff mainly, cause I cant be bothered spending all day sorting it at the scrap yard.

Scraps not worth that much atm, serious lack of demand worldwide.

Seems like it should all be 'in size' and top $ that you will get for steel. Also make sure the gas bottles have the valves removed or they will not take them.

You get bugger all for scrap at the moment because the NZ dollar is up. Once our dollar drops the price of scrap will go up shortly after. Best to put it to the side morrisman1 and cash it after the nz dollar drops. http://www.metalcorp.co.nz/pricelist.php

Most scrap places won't buy gas bottles. Might pay to ring and ask first.

Heard an ad on the radio today advertising cars for scrap $300 going or not. As my car cost $150011 years ago (1989 Nissan) I reckon that wouldn't be too bad! (and it's got a WoF and good tyres).

Some places will pay for the bottles (scrap steel price) but the valves must be removed and then they also pay for the brass. Seperate as much as you can and the prices will go up.

went and cashed in today. it was $250 a tonne for the steel. Had 720kg steel on the trailer, then there was 80kg of batteries and some copper. Over $300 all up.
