yep, i remember reading an article a couple of years ago, from what I remember they pretty much transplant everything from an XKR Jag into the MK11 body.

Yet they spoil the looks with those ugly door mirrors, would look way nicer with no or period mirrors.

They wanted to buy my friends 3.8 Mk2. They were offering peanuts though.

Hmmmmm. the um.err.the things i could tell you 'bout "that" outfit would make ya think "umm ahh"
But i won't because it was a few years ago now and i'm SURE the.umm.shall we just generalise and say 'workmanship' has improved.
Will finish by saying, don't dig too hard through, at or in one from the late '90s.
Bare in mind i'm a car painter and am Hawkes Bay born & bred and i do know wha.- .no, i better stop before it becomes legal haha.

You should see what they do to the door handles on E Types.
Personally I think either conversion is revolting, but I haven't made enough money to buy one - so perhaps I am doing everything wrong.

I like it. Means you get the timeless elegance of the design with modern comforts and performance. Yes there are a few compromises, but that is expected with such a project.
I felt my stomache heave! Please robotnik, an x-rated warning next time.

There was a Mitsuoka in one of the LTNZ adds on the tele a while back.Strange thing being as I understand it they dont comply for reg in NZ.Some of the Mitsuoka cars look OK to me as long as you dont try and think its the real thing. No different to all thge MG type kit cars if you ask me.

Lol. sifty.I quite enjoy some of your posts in here. but, mate, if you came down my drive for a chinwag / beer / cuppa in that POS. you'd be walkin' home ! ( unless the oxy-acetylene in my w/shop was empty, the chainsaw wouldn't start, & the axe-handle broke:-) :-0 :)

yep as nice as it is, the price is in lala land.

Can't you imagine it though! i'd turn up to a vintage car meet in my tweed jacket and pipe, and park next to a XK150 and attempt an earnest discussion on our variants.

lol. yep, I can see the pain in their eyes now ;)

flat white - you exaggerate. Why would you need those tools! A pair of scissors and a can opener would probably be enough. In reality I suspect you would just be jealous that sifty had a better car than your cavalier. I don't mind the Daimler (did notice the mirrors straight away though, and agree that they spoil the look). Wouldn't pay that much for it though, there are other cars I'd rather have for that money (or most of a house!).

The man does actually get some phenomenal prices overseas for their re-fits. .& , if I was honest, I'd happily drive that car all day long. but not at that price, for sure.

zactamondo! That 200k could be spent on much better things. Imagine the amount of ale you could buy for 200k
