I heard the other day that you can no longer get a 3 tonne sticker for hilux etc,NZTA have said you have to now buy 2 tonne.the question is won't most of these utes etc be overloaded at 2 tonne.Are we getting due for plods to start weighing double cab utes with 4 passengers and gear on back. !

The 2 ton sticker covers your weight up to 3.5 ton now.checked it out with them.I manage a transport company so was a little wary of it but got an email to confirm.as long as your distance is fine you can't be ticketed.when they finish sorting out the HMV system they will sort the light vehicle stickers apparently

was just about to start new thread asking same question as i just got a new sticker for my bt50 and noticed the weight had changed also. thanks for putting mind at ease j&cmcg
