have tried lots of suppliers and cant find one through out nz,can get one made but not willing to pay $100 for 1 bolt.Its for a wallace mower gear box,main shaft bolt.Does anyone have any ideas ,cheers

thats a good idea su / nova , ring them get price + air parcel post, there's no gst/duty. pay directly to their acc with visa / mastercardcostFU. ALL or check out eng supply shops for a thread die, but then it starts to get more complicated.finding blank bolt, steel choice, might have beem rolled thread ( high spec bolt )

I can tell you now that there is no where in NZ that will sell them you might be able to get lh threaded rod thou give EDL fasteners a call

What about truck LHS wheel studs! Don't know about the size and thread, but would have thought some would be close. You could cut to length and weld a nut on one end for a head.

pdc1 yes tried truck wreckers but they were fine left hand thread.Have emailed above addy and waiting to hear back.
