I'd rather buy a second hand Tiida - basically the same thing with a much nicer interior

its the worlds cheapest no frills car with ultra low fuelconsumption and highest emission standardeuro5 We got one of thesebecause i calculated it to myfather . 10 year old car with newwof in europe 3500$ after 2 years its due for another wof and 10 year old cars are welded up due to rust . so another 2 grand needs to be spent to get another wof = 4500$ after 2 years and then something fails or it needs a cambelt on old car another 1000 bux gone after 3 years= 5500 bux in 3 yearsplus no 10 year old car does 60mpg and is euro5 emission The sandero we got cost 8600 bux brand new3 year factory warranty 15000km inspections or once a year. So its a no brainer what to buy with 5 year no wof for new cars in switzerland.

All it needs is a Mitsi diesel and it will be twice as quick and twice as economical!

What part of second hand do you not understand!
What is the point in buying an absolutely awful bottom of the barrel new car when you can get something much better five or six years old that is still going to last for as long as you maintain it.
Still plenty of peoplewho would love a cheap no frillscar .Espfemales to whom a car is just a means of getting from a to bas cheaply as possible .

OMG! What a heap of shit! Chronic understeer, suspension way too soft, rear axle articulation non existent, failed the slalom test, interior is a sea of grey plastic, etc. And you call that going off road! What a joke, my back yard looks a lot more challenging. And could you see they had to give it death to make it up that small hill! They actually had to use momentum to get to the top, which means the Duster's off road ability is.crap. LMAO!
It will probaby come here with a Renault badge - after all Renaults sources most of its NZ Spec Renaults from Dacia plant in Korea! Not France that why they are so cheap! Dacias in some markets are sold as Renaults they do make an excellent 4x4 vehicle based on the Kolos chassis that is made in Romania and Argentina - Much more attractive then the Kolos!
Dacia originally was a Romanian company with Renault ties and in the late 1980s sent over a few of its products to test the market here -these were basically facelifted Renault 12s of the 1970s - there was also a few utes - I often wondered if any survive!

If they came here I wouldn't hold my breath on them still being a bargain. I suspect like they do with Hyundai's they will try and sell them for silly money.
All while people are stupid enough to pay to pay proper car money for entry level vehicles this will continue.
That doesnt include, shipping, customs charges, GST , on road costs or a dealer margin.it will be closer to 20k by the time its avaialble in NZ for what will no doubt be an another unreliable unsupported euro

hi yes but they ship from rumaniatake a look at the mpg figures they are correct i drove the previous model with that 1.2 engine for 10,000km and used 5.4 to 5.8 liter per 100km traveling up to 120kph on steep parts of motorway with 3 passangers

83mpg i think you got something wrongthat would be mor economical then any diesel lmao only one getting close to that mpg is a kia picanto but i dont know if the manufacturer specs on that are correct or not as i never drove one of that.

Its true 28 kms per litre. The most fuel efficient car registered in Japan
83 miles per gallon = 2.83391064 liter per 100km vw hold the world record with a diesel 2.99 liter on a 1.2 tdi lupo. that is the truth not your idea with no proof. lets put it this way unless you driven and tested it your self you got no proof . manufacturer specs are often incorrect on paper. i have driven the above car for 10,000km and drawn my conclusion from that it matches the specs. i am however intersted if somone owns one as to what the facts are.
