$1300, not a vast sum, I'm sure she won't mind - alternatively keep your gob locked and hide it at a mates place until you can flick it off. Clean it yourself or give it the old $100 valet and see if you can turn a profit

As long as it doesn't have any major hidden faults, you could probably make some $$$ out of it as long as you spruce up the paint, wheels, fix roof lining, clean up the engine bay, fix the dents etc.
