So I have a new Mazda 6 2004, yay : ) It's all goodbut I'm not sure about 1 thing. when reversing the pedal gives a small clicking feel. Is this normal! Thanks

Thanks. It's only new and it has a 1 month warranty only so want to get onto it if it is a problem but never had a car over 97 so thought it might be something with newer models.

If it is when you first start the car and put it in reverse, I would say it is the ABS self check. I've struck a few models that do this

So a quick google seems to tell me my car is fine as it has abs brakes and they do this. i can't seem to remember which pedal is clicking but thinking it may be break now, our drive is long and narrow and I do break often thinking about it and this is when i'm feeling it. Would still appreciate other opinions though, thanks.

REPEAT AFTER ME -"I read both the front and back of the CIN card when I purchased the car". As such you will be aware you don't have a "months" warranty but are covered by the CGA for afair and reasonable lenth of time.That time is a bit ambiguous but is DEFINITELY a lot longer than one month.

i;d put my money one it being the brake pads moving on the caliper.
if you go forward, then brake then reverse then brake it will probably do it every time.
it's normal.
