They are still Taiwanese just like Powerbuilt are. But I would rate them higher than Powerbuilt. Powerbuilt tools are for home mechanics not for the trade IMHO.

King tony stuff is good, no Koken or anything like that but you shouldn't have any worries buying them. Them and Toptul are probably the best value on the market at this stage.

I have some King Tony stuff. Does the job, but I don't use them as everyday tools. Would rate better then the Powerbuilt stuff I have, but certainly not as good as the Koken, Wilde, Snap On etc stuff I also have.

King Tony product is actually pretty well priced. They have produced their product along the lines of Koken as their ratchets and sockets are similar.

Prefer the Swedish Bahco myself. Used to be Sandvik and Bahco
