Does in anyone in the wellington region have a 54mm Socket and a decent powered rattle gun 300ft/lbs+ that I could bring my motor to in order to remove the flywheel! My basic garage tools don't suffice

Sold my Mazda flywheel socket and flywheel locker, not quite basic garage tools.

There's a place in Tauranga that sells metre long flywheel lock bar and 54mm nut bar for about spot.

Just drive it for a while, if it's standard rotary equipment, it'll just fall off eventually.

Buy a socket from Repco and a power bar, Get an old engine valve / heat / bend at right angles and you have a flywheel lock. Had same one for 30 years now works a treat.
Steve, Rotary racing legend round these parts, works from home

Thanks for all the input, i'll give Steve a ring tomorrow and see if he can do the nut for me, if not looks like I'm buying the Gear to do it myself.
