A full rewire will get expensive in a hurry. Why not get an unbutcherd loom from another car and change it over!
The loom in 3 parts from memory. What part/parts are butchered and what model VK!Berlinais easy.Royal not so much but definately doable.

its the berlina model ,the loom from fuse box (enginebay) to ignition,i had a faulty imobilizer, its been removed but the left over wiring is crap, makes me wonder was the imobilizer faulty!,so im keen to change the loom, get the alarm tested, might try pic-a-part ,

I rewired a hq it was 4 k a vk has more wiring so I would imagine it would cost more! It would be cheaper to buy another loom and get it fitted

I had my VH re-wired around 5 years ago. Was a custom job with new relays, engine bay wiring hidden, elec seats, windows, battery in boot, upgraded fuse box the lot.Cost was around 2.5k back then & they had the car for 2 months. Find an un-raped VK & remove the loom from that. Good luck
