Doesn't the design brief for these state, that when a poster of one is hung on a wall it has to go with the tiger print faux mink blanket on the bed!
At least that was my understanding.

Even though the definition of rice is the add ons without the power, the latest HSV's to me are rice.Rice doesn't have to be Japanese, or 4 cylinder (though most of it is).Increasing numbers of BMW's and Merc's are becoming riced these days.

I've always thought the best looking VE HSV is the Senator. All the scoops, LSDs and wanky paint jobs are unnecessary.

yea still a better car then those Subarus low life cars .mr hijacka you know i talking to you.this is what he says about holden drivers.Sorry about your loss and i'll keep a ear out but i don't hang with holden drivers they are at the bottom of the auto chain. BTW. What are the details of the subaru! Turbo, non turbo. year, model kms etc could be keen to buy it off you

hijacka is just envious :-) How many old Subarus do you see on the road vs old holdens. No arguing Subarus go well, but it does seem that the fast ones (which IMO are as ugly as the new / recent HSV offerings) are usually driven by young males who seem to have something to prove. EVO's fall into the same category though.

I actually don't mind it,,,,,,,,,if you compare "bang for buck" with other manufacturers offering the same packages. When you weigh it up with the same performance and trim packages supplied by the competition it works out to be a lot of car for the money. Personally, I will wait for the new performance ute.

bang for buck (and probably maintenance) I expect they would be fine, still don't like the looks of them though.

Why do you supose they do that!Wouldnt be because they have Chev motor in there car by chance. Would be a bit odd if it was a Holden with and actuall all Holden motor.Or maybe its because they realise GM is part of GM US, Can't say I find it the worse car crime (if at all) ever commited. I guess if you a Nissan badge on a VL it may look very odd, but least its saying its a hybrid jappadoor.Must of been a hard couple of years for Holden fans when the VLs came out like that, I mean how do you glote (if ya like that) when your pride and ioy is half Jappanese. Good bloody cars they were to, part from the rust and ticking lifters lol. But the rust was all Aussie.

& the snapping exhaust manifold studs, dunno if it was a Nissan thing (never had much to do with those) but were/are a common complaint in VLs

Yea that to, ive had a few VLs but never had the need to have that done at all.

The new top end commodores look tacky and cheesy. That's is about all their is.Yes I'm sure they go fast and all but that't only half the picture. All the anti jappa comments amuse me as well. pretty narrow minded but hey it is Bathurst weekend isn't it!I'll be driving my Toyota to watch the taxis go at it.

Nope - they're black, so when the drivers in the queue behind are overtaking they don't get blinded by the lights or sun reflecting off the badges.
