I am asking about what to use to treat surface rust and then paint on (brush only) to the chassis of my camper truck. Im aware of por15 and am wondering if there is any cheaper ways of doing it. I thought , brush on rust converter then underseal brushed on! would that be enough or should i use chassis black paint! rustkill primer! or what! I would appreciate advice , cheers.

Tergo blackguard, rust kill and primer in one go, then over coat in chassis black ( or any other top coat)

Just did my camper with a wattyl 3 part system, stripped mostly back to bare metal applied wattyl rust converter then heavy duty primer then 2 coats of epoxy enamal came up really well

the good thing about the wattle rust kill is that you dont need to clean it off once its done its thing
