Have recently swapped a gas bottle on a friends caravan and noticed that it has no regulator. An orange hose is coupled directly to the bottle via LH threaded adaptor and hosetail and feeds a two burner cooker directly. Forgive me if I'm wrong but doesn't a regulator also act as a pressure reducer and therefore is there such a cooker that requires the high (bottle) pressure as opposed to the lower regulator output pressure!

some gas devices run on high pressure, they have much smaller jets to allow for full pressure gas.
