Do you do the bolt up on the idler arm ultra tight or just tight and then put split pin through like you do a bearing nut! This is the side going to the tie rods. On XA Falcon. Cheers

there will be a torque value for it but i just do them till tight then a yip on bar if ya get my dirft and stick ya pin in

for the main one it's (arm to bracket) 60-80 Ft-Lbs, torque to low limit of specification; then tighten the nut to the nearest cotter pin slot and insert the cotter pin. arm to steering connecting rod is 35-47

Just get a big power bar and tighten it up until it goes slack, back it off quarter of a turn and then put the pin through.
