Email/ph the manufacture & ask if they have spares.

Adding . Plenty of car stereo system install shops around that can help with that sort of thing.

I bought a car without a faceplate once.Panasonic unit so enquired about a new plate.Knew the agent and the best price they could do was more than a complete new head unit.

Pretty sure the person who stole your original faceplate could be keen on buying the rest of the unit, they probably didn't have time to take it out then and there, so may be happy to pay a little bit for it if as you've saved them the hassle and taken it out for them. LOL
Seriously though, I've purchased cars as wrecks and they haven't had faceplates, only the units still left in the car as the seller may have forgotten and kept the faceplate. So if someone has a spare faceplate they may be looking out for a compatible unit on TM for cheap. I know I've looked before for faceplates as the one I had had a cracked circuit board from being pushed too hard over a long period of time.

Or. head unit was stolen while the owner had the faceplate with him as a theft deterrent and they're hoping to not raise suspicion when selling the head unit minus the faceplate since that's all they could get.

the guy who stole the face plate could buy the other half.

I'm sure they would. for five times the replacement cost of the whole unit.
