If there is a bus lane, are buses required to use them!
Too many buses in the "public" lanes and adding to the congestion.And adjacent to empty bus lanes.
Just an Auckland issue!

bus lanes are a P I T A .who cares if the buses are on time anyway ! I,m more concerned that I can't park outside the pie shop in the morning any more, the pieman won't be too happy either.

We have"bus lanes" in Wellington in places where the road is nowhere near wide enough to contain a bus and a car lane.
Works well.
