Nope.Back then I couldn't afford one, and they weren't my thing. To be honest, it still isn't in terms of what my riding needs or skills could cope with. But I would still own one for the "cool" factor. There was a really original one sitting in Suzuki NZ's foyer in Wanganui.Owned by Steve Bron.

Funny feeling these are all Bron's, they match what he had.

Seller's profile doesn't match Steve.

For good reason which i won't go into here, but lets just say, I wouldn't be buying any of them, they might get, lets say, taken back by someone.
Was a wild ride because I may or may not of been flying along in the country with the thing pinned to the max.

Back in there day they were quite a scary item. I know two guys who owned them here (one still has his) when they were still new. I was riding a Katana 1100 (a quick/fast bike in its day.in a straight line) so I didnt think alot of a 500 being to worrisome when I got a ride on it.it wasnt till it hit the powerband quite rapidly. It caught me very unawhere and I went straight through a stop sign, only gave it a little bita throttle, so I thought. There are some things ya never forget in life and that was one of them. And to see it sitting beside me two up on a looong straight with the Katanas throttle wide open was also an eye opener. AHHHH the dumb old days, no understanding of death back then LOL.

That VFR is impressive - in fact looks awesome. One thing though.did the current owner know something! 1998 VFR but imported in 1996! Would it have meant to be otherway around!

Wow for once there is a reasonable priced R1 on TM, I don't know if the sellers on here are dreamers and ask a good 30% more than the equalivent gsxr/zx10/cbr, or R1 buyers are a pack of sheep that will fork out extra coin for a badge. The hilux of the two wheel world maybe. That VFR looks like fun.

Not to worry, that's only a Honda :p

motorboy2011,

only the rc30, all the others are worth around the same as the equivalent CBR
