I got a 37ton off here - we used to hire one with a car motor before, but had been several problems with it [it was getting old]. it has meant we are able to split our own wood when we are able or want to & I don't have to lift the rounds up onto a table anymore & it's been able to go through everything we have asked it to.

I have not been maimed, injured or hurt in any way with a wood splitter.I have 'clipped' my knee with a stihl chainsaw a few years ago - was not the chainsaws fault - but I was tired & should have put it down earlier than I did.
