The reason they collect it at licensing on diesels is because it's not on fuel. SO for that to work you need to come up with an alternative method of collective the revenue.

Ok The NSW system of annual checks results in cars with 10 months rego going for cost of reg $600 or so trick is to buy as much reg as you can and just drive it coz next reg its scrap and the cars are no different to here just more Holdens and Falcons the roads are no better but mileages are high
