what hoops will i need to jump through and what's this likely to cost!
if i found an american car importer could i save money by chucking it in the boot!(will fit in any medium to large station wagon)

If you don't know 100% for certain that it's in mint condition with no faults, then it'll probably cost you an arm and a leg.

Just get a one way airfare on special and a few jerrycans from walmart for fuel when you get over there. slap on a wet suit and bobs ya uncle. try to avoid going via bermuda as there is a big triangle there

Don't bother, I did it once and was ripped off, you never know the hours, what it's hit, has it been abused, cleaned!, warrantee issues, electrical state etc etc.

last time i had anything to do with a jetski imported from the states was a nightmare.turned out it was built up from crap to get rid of it.engine hours and ecu hour did not match, had it on water for less than 10 mins and it blew up, yes i did all the service stuff before using it.turned out in the end it was an ex hire ski.
