Story: Parked with expired rego label then received a ticket for not having current rego (not for not displaying it correctly).
My question is once i have proven that infact I did have current rego ( an email confirmation that i purchased it online from Land transport before the date of the ticket )
Can they infringe me again for not displaying ticket correctly!

You might have a case there, but it depends what the exact wording was of the ticket. But you will probably have to go to court to fight it and if you don't want to sit there all day waiting you will have to pay a layer.

na you write to them with facts and tell em you dont ow the money if they think otherwise they can take you to court. its about time more people started to stand on there own legs and teach them that they cant do what ever the like or want.

What happened, did they put the wrong date on the ticket giving you room to go and get one before the date, or was it actually current at the time.

It was current but NOT displayed ( waiting to get in the mail ) But the wording is that the fine i for not being licensed NOT for not displaying rego correctly

There is a defence for that offence in the Licensing Legislation, no begging required.
"before the licence expired, an application for a new licence for the motor vehicle for a period including the day of the alleged offence had been forwarded (either by post or by electronic means) to the Registrar along with the prescribed fees and accident insurance levies; and
(v) the new licence had not been received from the Registrar by the time of the alleged offence"
Just write to whoever issued the ticket with your explanation.

Yes. Not 'again', but if you don't display your registration ticket correctly, they can issue a stationary infringement offence notice for that. A cop can do the same thing, even if your vehicle is currently registered. It's all about the wording of the offence. You weren't issued with an infringement for 'un-licensed motor vehicle' - it would have said "failed to display current vehicle registration" or words to that effect.
Worth having a crack at getting off it though. I had a parking infringement wiped because they didn't spell the name of the road (on which my vehicle was parked) correctly.

Do you have the parking ticket as issued!Do you have it handy! Then why not type in your post EXACTLY what it says the infringement was.We may be able to offer proper advice to you given we can see what you can see.
