Not starting when warm

Hello my uncle has a Honda Ascot Innova 1992 CB3. The car doesn't start once it is warm. You have to wait until the car has cooled down then it is fine. It doesn't cut while driving just when you stop (go to the dairy etc) then it won't start until it has cooled down again. sometimes have to wait 5-10mins before it will start again.
does anyone has some ideas on what to check!
Thanks

Well known problem with this model - bad solder joints in the PGM FI relay up under the dash on the driver's side - this disables the fuel pump. The problem occurs when the cabin is hot rather than the engine bay so can occur on a hot day with a cold engine. Cure is to replace the relay or a skilled technician can dismantle and resolder the faulty joint(s).

N.B. can be checked by removing the screw plug from the inlet fuel rail (where the fuel pressure test gauge is fitted) and checking for fuel flow when attempting to start the car - beware spilt fuel when it does flow - be prepared to switch off quickly.

Had the same problem with my lawnmower. Turns out the fuel was evaporating in the carby. A bit of choke fixed it.

under the dashboard up near the steering column somewhere. it should make a couple clicks when you turn the key on. if you cant hear it, tap the little grey (or brown or black, I forget) box up there, that usually gets it going lol

yup, used to have that problem. 2 clicks, all is good. 1 click, bash under the dash and try again.
