I need to sort out what kind of collets, cups and back caps I'm going to use. I've gone with 2mm Lanthanated tungsten for a start, seemed like most people were happy with them. However the other stuff I'm not sure what a good base setup would be, anyone got any suggestions before I start reading too far into it! I'm basically shooting to do some stainless steel work and the odd aluminium job, probably not huge amperage. No nickel, copper or anything weird like that. The back cap I'm not in small spaces so a standard long one will do, the rest I have no idea where to start.

You figured out what hand you're going to hold it in! Not joking . some hold the TIG torch in the other hand than they hold their MIG one . and some the same. Which way are you doing it!

Got a little busy, back now.
I'm really not sure and you do have a point. However it's hard to know which works best when I have nothing to take a spin on, I'm right handed, however I'm ok with my left. I guess it would depend on if I find it easier to roll the cup using my left and my steadier right for the filler or if I prefer using the right for the torch and hovering it just dipping the filler with the left. I haven't spent enough time to say what feels better to me.
