It is a Mitsi engine, and it's still used in 2011 Tritons, 4x2 models.

There's one here where I live, I service it twice a year, and yeah, rocker covers haven't really changed from the older models.They actually go all right (the Tritons).

It uses the 4G69 which is the very last incarnation of the Sirius family engines dating back to 1980. It looks very similar to the older 4G64 SOHC16V engine except the bore/stroke slightly differs along with other changes such as valve size & angle and the move to wasted spark coil setup instead of a distributor. Commercial vehicles aren't subjected to the same emissions restrictions of passenger vehicles.
