.ibitor mix (i.e way too strong) result in leakage across a gasket! (I do know that they say not to add any after refitting a cylinder head until its been retorqued, and i believe that's because it can leak in those early stages where plain water wouldn't, but i'm wondering if just running it too strong can induce a leak in a long established engine). T.i.a

I wouldnt think so but im not an expert. If your car has alot of kms then its probably just time for a new gasket.

using anything more than approx 80% antifreeze is not recommended as antifreeze is thicker than water and may cause problems with water flow, if it does leak out the head gasket than the head gaket was most likey gonna give way anyway in the future due to the cooling system not being maintained and/or serviced regulary

No. But putting antifreeze into a cooling system that has never had it and is full of rust can cause leaks, as sometimes it is just the corrosion left sealing up! And the coolant inhibitor kicks in and then you find a leak!

We always refilled a new head job with water only and when customer returns for head re torque / check drain / add antifreeze then. The more concentration of antifreeze the thinner it gets so do the math.

mine doesn't. use no more than a 50-50 mix for max efficency of it's cooling properties & anti corrosion of the alloy block n heads.

I'm pretty sure Antifreeze is actually thicker then water, so the higher concentration would make it thicker .
We always put fresh coolant in a car after doing a head job.

Did some research and in fact mixed with water may be a little more viscous than water so apologies for incorrect reference Make-a-bid. The use of 100% glycol in some racing engines is to further increase the boiling point up. Graph here.
