I assume you're talking about a front facing plenum! There is no such thing as a Series 1 plenum, or vice versa.
"won't idle etc" What is "etc"!
Did you reconnect the idle and cold start valves with appropriate sized pipe!

r32 and r33 plenums are not interchangable. did u swap a s1 r33 with a s2 r33 plenum. what else was changed
