a freelander. And would like people opinions and experiences of it. Is it a good/bad 4wheel drive! Thanks.

Which colour is the one you're thinking of buying!
This is what they were like: http://townhall-talk.edmunds.com/direct/view/.f142477/0 Someone will probably tell you that the new ones are better, but of course they don't know for sure until the new ones aren't brand new any more. If there was a three-strike rule for vehicles, freelanders would have been in the dungeon years ago. Run.

Unless its a brand new one, don't do it.

I have seen a couple of2006 -2008 models that I liked. Can I ask mm12345 what you didnt like about them!

The only Freelander I like is a diesel, but even they can give problems that shouldn't happen so soon.
Seriously, there are much better soft roaders out there.

The Freelander 1 had issues. The Freelander 2 is a completely different beast. I had a 2008 freelander 23.2l petrol. It was absolutely brillant. It would have to be one of the nicest driving SUV's i have owned. Was a little thirsty but no more so than a v6 Comadore. They ride and drive very smoothly, and the interior finish was very good. I sold mine to a local and still see it regularly and they also have had no problems with it. I beleive Socram (another regular poster) also has had experance with owning Feelanders and has also enjoyed the experances.

At least there is one happy freelander owner out there.

One in a million . I wouldn't swap my 20 year old bighorn for a 2 year o;d freelander - or any other land/range rover product.
